Jump On In! Lets meet and greet your new adventure friends at our meeting spot downtown Vancouver. It’s not a long drive from downtown Vancouver up Mount Seymour so enjoy the “getting out of the city feeling”. Once we arrive at the trailhead, we complete the gear check, divide all the food evenly amongst the group, orientate ourselves with our new adventure playground and get going.
The winter route to First Peak, also named Pump Peak, is a fun snowshoe trail on the North Shore. Pump Peak provides incredible views and a solid workout. From the summit, on a clear day, you look down over the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley as far as the eye can see. But even on cloudy days the hike is lots of fun and has fabulous opportunities to play in the snow.
Once we reach the top we will take a nice break and enjoy an amazing Cheese Fondue combined with homemade bread and delicious veggies to dip. We will also have a little surprise to add to this.
The way down is always fantastic as we can slide fast. Kind of like skiing, but then on snowshoes. It’ll be much quicker than the way up and you might even feel like you’re flying. Once we made it down to the parking lot we will drop you off where we picked you up in the morning.
